  1. Before I bought a Golf, I could get a Japanese car financing for 5 years without the hassle of all these documents.

Even when I took delivery of the Golf last week, I could get up to 6 years financing through a credit union without the documents.

What advantages are there to people like us to go to VW Financing?

  2. With all due respect Jay but this is a joke honestly, when i came to this country with an L1 visa i went to a Toyota dealer and bought a car they only ask me for driver lic.,proof of insurance and pay stub and social that was all very simple and easy, there was no need for all the non sense you mention regarding letter from employer minimum wage required I-94, VW like this is making it very difficult and time consuming just to gather all that info in other for later wait to get approval no thank you ill go to another dealer friendly…. less complicated.

  3. Despite the previous feedback Jay, I think this plan could make a lot of sense depending upon the individual’s situation. I’ll be relocating to the US next month myself on an L1A visa, with no prior credit history in the country, and very limited options as a result. It looks like this scheme could be just what we need to get a vehicle organised and build our US credit history. I’ll be sure to stop by the local dealer in our area and look into our options. Thanks!
