2012 Tiguan gets new face and 29MPG!

VW showed the 2012 US Spec Tiguan at the New York Autoshow this weekend. Among the changes are are new facia, tail lamps, badging, optional Xenon headlamps with  LED DRLs, and a number of minor interior trim updates. The biggest news however, is the updated drive train together with the more slippery bodywork help it archive a 4 MPG increase to an estimated 29 MPG  highway.  Look for the baby Touareg look alike to arrive in dealers around July.

  1. Any word if there will be a TDI version in the US?

  2. Jay, can I still order a 2011 Tiguan from the factory and if so what is the turnaround time? Thanks.

  3. Will an off road package be offered in the US?
