  1. Wow. I am really impressed by how beautiful this car is. The designers did a great job. It’s looking more like a modern day Porsche 911 than the old Beetle. Course the two have the same roots, but we can all agree that they diverged pretty early on. With this redesign, I suspect more men will be interested in the Beatle than in the previous New Beatle. As long as the interior is like the Golf/GTI, Jetta GLI or Jetta Sportswagon as opposed to the interior of the new Jetta, I hope this is a big hit.

  2. Bi-Xenon – GREAT but when?

VWofA seems to have listened to everyone bitchin’ about how they bastardized the Jetta now, the Beetle which really only sales well in the US is giving all the goodies from the corporate parts been…at least there is an option box to be checked! If the fit and finish is what the previous Jetta or current GTI then we might have a volume seller! Let’s hope that a customer can custom build what ever car they want and NOT be limited to 3 choices like the Accord and Camry! Too bad they didn’t leave the retractable spoiler, that would have outstanding!

    HOW MUCH and WHEN?

  3. Paddle shifters on the 2.0T + DSG?

  4. It looks really good… But it makes me wonder why did VW put HIDs with LEDs on a Beetle and not even an option on the GLi… VW… you don’t cease to amaze me… On the other hand great job redesigning the Beetle, it looks great. Now, remake the Super Beetle!!!!!
