  1. Jay,
In the JSW you can also use the steering wheel volume controls to change volume during telephone calls and Nav prompts.

    Good podcast!

  2. Now if they could just make it so we could adjust the VOLUME on the bluetooth phone ring. Every time I get a call, I feel my hearing loss grow just a little bit more.

  3. Does any one know if the OEM Navigation unit from a radio Golf Jetta 05-09, fit and work correctly in an Eos. THe Part number is 1K0-035-197C

  5. Hi

I left a comment before but I can’t find it now sorry for duplication.

Does the rns510 work in a 2010 Golf GTD for all touchscreen phone features Bluetooth etc or cable connected with an iPhone or do I need some kind of extra kit?

    Thanks
    Ben

  6. Hi
    Jay
Just want to know is there a way to update the filmware/software for earlier RNS 510 navigation unit. If it is then how to upgrade it, and also how to see that my unit has older software.
    Thanks
    Sunil

  7. Question about the RNS 510
hi jay, I’ve just ordered the new fabia vrs.
I will fit the rns 510 system with the latest update, and a rear view camera in when i get it,
just wondered if i need to have the telephone preparation gsm + bluetooth, and the rear parking sensors fitted in the car to have full operation of the
“call settings” and the “rear view cam” or would i be wasting money ordering these fitted in the car???
    thanks, dean
